Symposium Committees
Registration
Led by the Treasurer and Vice President. This committee covers the registrations for the symposium.
Schedule & Program
Led by the Public Relations officer and Secretary. This committee plans the layout of the symposium events.
Proposals & Sessions
Led by the Instruction & Professional Learning officer and President. This committee oversees the session proposal review and acceptance for the symposium.
Communication & Promotion
Led by the Public Relations officer and Secretary. This committee creates the symposium publications that are used to promote the event.
Awards & Scholarships
Led by the Instruction & Professional Development and Historian officers, and Secretary. This committee oversees the award and scholarship process, review, and selection.
Exhibitors & Sponsors
Led by the President, Vice President, and Parliamentarian officer. This committee works closely with vendors and companies who help to sponsor the symposium.
Hospitality
Led by the President & Treasurer. This committee oversees decorations, entertainment, and giveaways throughout the day of the symposium.
BESO Facilitators
Led by the Historian officer. This committee works closely with a selected BESO advisor to organize the BESO facilitators for the symposium.
42nd BEAM Reception
Led by the President and Past-President, and Parliamentarian. This committee oversees and organizes the BEAM dinner for honorees and BEAM VIPs.
